  • Why do I have to pay for shipping?
    Because shipping costs money. We ship with the quality service provider UPS, which delivers quickly and offers consistent and reliable tracking worldwide.
  • Are there discounts on the books?
    The German Book Price Fixing Act, which applies in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, prohibits discounts to end customers. Resellers are also bound by the fixed book prices and are not permitted to pass on their trade discounts to their customers. Unfortunately, this also applies to trainees and students.
  • Why are your books so expensive?
    Our specialist books are of interest only to a very limited readership. Compared to other industries, they are therefore limited to very small and very short print runs. However, their production is just as costly for the authors and the publisher as for books with large print runs. Therefore, we cannot offer our titles at lower prices.
  • I'd also like to publish a textbook. Would you publish it?
    Probably not. Book production is relatively complex, requires pre-financing, and the sales potential in our industry is limited. Therefore, we only publish titles by our own authors.
